Getting to the Marina

Giving and getting directions on St. Thomas can be quite comical, we tend to use landmarks and direction instead of street names, since we don’t really have many. Think if it as the true island experience.

From the airport: Take a right out of the airport entrance and head west toward waterfront. Follow waterfront for 10 min. until the road turns to the left and the ocean is behind you. Take a right at this light and follow the road until you come to an intersection with a Wendy’s on your right and Giant Gas on your left. Take a left here and continue down this road (you will pass a KMart on your left) there will be a stoplight in front of you with a McDonalds to your left, take a right at this light and continue uphill and out of town. You will pass a sign for Cost U Less, Home Depot, and Caribbean Cinemas on your left, this will let you know you’re going the right way – continue straight through that intersection, you will approach another large intersection there will be Banco Popular on your right, make a right at this light. Continue West for another 10 minutes. The road will bring you into the little town of Redhook, three small restaurants on your right Pesce, Raw, and Melt, you will make a right after the third restaurant called “Melt” and drive down into the parking garage and into marina.  You made it!

Once in American Yacht Harbor Marina in Redhook find a parking spot and check into the marina office below Lattes in Paradise on the ocean level floor in the middle of the property. You will need to pay $10 for a parking pass valid for one day. Place the parking pass in a visible location on the dash of your vehicle and head back to the office. If there is no parking available in Marina deck, please head across the street behind Moe’s Fresh Market is a nice big lot with plenty of spaces.

If you walk out of the marina office through the dock gate. Turn left and walk one dock down towards B dock which is the next dock on your right. The second slip on the right side of B dock is yours. See the red pin icon on the map below:
