This is a heavy (1 pound) cut crystal inkwell with a lid that I believe is glass. The lid pattern matches the inkwell, but the underside rim has a chip as shown. The inkwell measures 2 5/8 inches across the bottom each way and is 1 5/8 inches tall not counting the rim. Including the lid, it is 2 3/8 inches tall. The inkwell is clean and has no damage that I can see. The center base is cut in a crosshatch pattern that matches the lid. The bottom of the inkwell is shown.
